I am an Assistant Professor of Writing and First-Year Studies at Stockton University. My research focuses on digital rhetoric, writing in the public sphere, rhetorical circulation, persuasion, and writing pedagogy.

My current book project (The New Information Warriors: Rhetoric, Writing, and Social Change in the Digital Age) examines the ways that everyday writers catalyze social change using networked technologies. Through qualitative studies of emerging practices of amplification, coordination, and strategic messaging, this project investigates the recontextualization of persuasion techniques that were once the province of mass communication practitioners.
